THE PRINT
Les Demoiselles d’Avignon marks a radical break from traditional composition and perspective in painting. It depicts five naked women with figures composed of flat, splintered planes and faces inspired by Iberian sculpture and African masks. The compressed space the figures inhabit appears to project forward in jagged shards; a fiercely pointed slice of melon in the still life of fruit at the bottom of the composition teeters on an impossibly upturned tabletop. These strategies would be significant in Picasso’s subsequent development of Cubism. PACKAGING
- Unframed art prints are placed between sheets of acid free tissue paper before being rolled in kraft paper and placed in a heavy duty mailing tube. Tissue paper is placed at the ends to prevent movement during transit.
- Framed artworks are encased in several layers of bubble wrap before being placed in our purpose-built heavy duty cardboard boxes specifically designed to safeguard your artwork against damage while in transit.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. You can also checkout using Paypal. If you are based in New Zealand or Australia you also have the option to pay using Afterpay. When checking out your order will be processed in NZD (New Zealand Dollars).
RETURNS
