As the senior illustrator at Paris's Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle and a contributor to the iconic Petit Larousse encyclopaedias, Millot combined scientific precision with exceptional artistic skill, creating illustrations that continue to be admired for both their accuracy and decorative beauty.
