Founded in Switzerland in 1851 Bally is one of the world's oldest luxury brands reknowned for their high quality materials, craftsmanship, and timeless style. In 1969 renowned French graphic artist Bernard Villemot was hired by Bally to design their advertising posters. Villemot stripped out the detail and excess clutter instead focussing on showcasing the human form, in particular the modern and glamorous woman, in a way that was engaging and abstract. Colour blocking, use of negative and positive space, and minimal lines were the signature style elements of his compositions. Bally Blonde from 1982 is one of Villemot's most iconic poster designs and will make a stunning addition to your home decor.
