How much does shipping cost?
We offer free shipping on all orders throughout New Zealand. No minimum spend required.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Orders for unframed art prints will arrive within 1–3 working days. Orders for framed art will arrive within 7 working days. Delivery times for rural addresses will likely be longer.
How will my order be sent?
Unframed art prints are placed between sheets of acid free tissue paper before being rolled in kraft paper and placed in a heavy-duty mailing tube. Additional tissue is used at the ends to prevent movement in transit. Framed artworks are encased in several layers of bubble wrap before being placed in our purpose-built heavy duty cardboard boxes specifically designed to safeguard your artwork against damage while in transit. All orders are delivered via Post Haste or NZ Post. When checking out please provide a physical address as we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
We’ve spent years perfecting our packaging to ensure your art arrives in pristine condition. In the unlikely event that your artwork is damaged in transit, we will prioritise a replacement at no additional cost to you. Where a replacement is not possible, a full refund of the purchase price will be made.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. This allows you to monitor your delivery via the Post Haste or NZ Post website.
Can I pick up my order?
Unfortunately no - as we do not have a physical storefront for collections. That being said, if you are a husband who has forgotten his wife’s birthday (or find yourself in a similar time-sensitive emergency!) and live in Auckland, we are happy to make an exception. Reach out and we'll see what we can do.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship unframed art prints worldwide (some exclusions apply). Please note that framed art can only be delivered within New Zealand. If your country does not appear as an option at checkout, please contact us and we will see what we can do.

Will I have to pay duty or taxes on my order?
Orders delivered internationally may incur duties or taxes. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Contact your local customs office for more information if you are unsure. Please note that we will not be held responsible for any customs or duties taxes that occur once your item has been dispatched.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Delivery times vary by destination, but most international orders arrive within 10-15 working days.

Materials
What kind of paper do you use?
We are renowned for the quality of our art paper. We use a luxurious, heavyweight (245gsm) 100% cotton rag textured art paper with a matte finish.
Tell me about your frames.
Your art print will be framed to the most exacting standards by our expert picture framers using gallery-quality materials throughout. We use sustainable solid timber frames with a modern, slim profile in three finishes: Black, White, and Natural Oak. Each piece features archival sealing on the back to protect against contaminants and arrives at your door ready to hang.
Do you use glass or acrylic?
We use premium 2mm clear float framing glass. While acrylic is favoured by many online art stores for being lightweight and easy to ship, glass remains the gold standard for high-end, long-term framing. It offers far superior optical clarity to acrylic and a much harder surface that is highly resistant to scratches. Because glass doesn't hold a static charge like acrylic, it won't attract dust, and it’s far easier to maintain.
Do you offer non-reflective glass?
Yes. UV70 non-reflection glass is available upon request. If you would like this option, please contact us prior to ordering as there is an additional cost for this upgrade.
Is it cheaper to get you to do the framing?
Absolutely. Because we manage the entire process in-house and don't pay high street rents, our custom framing generally works out about 25% cheaper than your local high-street framer. It’s a win-win: you save money while receiving a beautiful, gallery-quality finished piece.
Returns & Exchanges
Can I return my order if I change my mind?
If your new artwork isn’t the perfect fit for your space, we offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. Unframed art prints can be returned for a full refund, exchange, or store credit. Framed artworks can be returned for an exchange or store credit only. We do not offer refunds on framed artworks as they are made to order with custom specifications. To qualify, the art must arrive back with us in its original condition within 30 days of you having received it.
How do I return my art?
Please email support@popmotif.com and we will guide you through the process. Please use the original packaging when returning your art. We are not responsible for art that goes missing or is damaged in transit to us, so we recommend using a courier service that offers tracking and insurance.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
In the unlikely event that your art arrives damaged, defective, or isn’t what you ordered, please let us know as soon as possible. We will arrange a replacement for you in a timely fashion at no additional cost. Where a replacement is not possible, a full refund of the purchase price will be made.
Payments & Security
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express) as well as Afterpay, which allows you to spread the cost of your purchase over four interest-free fortnightly payments.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. Our store is powered by Shopify, which is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. All transaction information is protected by the same level of encryption used by leading banks, ensuring your data remains private and secure.
