Our 10 Year Warranty
We take great pride in the enduring quality of the art we produce. This warranty is a testament to our craftsmanship and our use of premium, gallery-quality materials. We design our art to last and stand behind every piece that leaves our Auckland studio. Under our 10 Year Warranty, we will repair or replace any artwork that shows defects in materials or craftsmanship under normal use conditions within a 10-year period from the date of purchase—at no additional cost to you.
1. Structural Integrity & Timber Quality
We use premium quality solid timber mouldings that are not only stylish but designed to last. Our 10 Year Warranty covers the structural integrity of your frame, providing you with peace of mind that in the unlikely event your frame shows signs of warping, we will replace it.
2. Precision Joinery
We use high-strength internal underpinning and professional-grade bonding when framing. We guarantee that our corner joins will remain tight, seamless, and flush for the full duration of the warranty. In the unlikely event that they don't, we will repair the frame.
3. Archival Sealing & Protection
Every Pop Motif piece is archival-sealed at the back with gallery quality tape. This creates a protected micro-environment for your art, which our 10 Year Warranty guards against:
-
Moisture & Humidity: Preventing the rippling of the art paper under normal home conditions.
-
Dust & Pests: Ensuring the internal space between the glass and art remains pristine.
-
Atmospheric Pollutants: Preserving the paper’s natural pH balance.
4. Colour Permanence & Paper Quality
We use genuine, UV-resistant pigment inks on heavyweight, acid-free textured art paper. We guarantee that your art will maintain its vivid rich colours and gallery-standard finish without fading for the life of the warranty.
5. Warranty Exclusions
To ensure the longevity of your art, please note that our 10-Year Warranty does not cover:
-
High-Humidity Environments: Paper rippling caused by placement in high-moisture areas such as bathrooms, laundries, or poorly ventilated spaces.
-
Direct Sunlight: While our inks are considered fade-resistant, we cannot guarantee against fading if the artwork is exposed to direct, continuous sunlight for long periods of time.
