Ormond Gigli (1925–2019) was a celebrated American photographer and photojournalist whose versatile career spanned over forty years, capturing the glamour and culture of the mid-20th century. His work, which appeared in leading international magazines like LIFE, TIME, and Paris Match, is characterised by a strong, directorial approach - meticulously staging complex photo shoots while maintaining the ability to capture intimate, revealing celebrity portraits. Gigli photographed countless stars and public figures, including Sophia Loren, Judy Garland, and John F. Kennedy.

His most famous and iconic photograph is Girls in the Windows (1960), a self-assigned colour photograph that depicts 43 women in colourful, fashionable attire posing in the windows of a New York brownstone slated for demolition across from his studio. This single image, which fuses fashion, architecture, and dramatic composition, cemented his reputation and is considered one of the 20th century's most recognisable photographs.

Packaging

• Unframed art prints are placed between sheets of acid free tissue paper before being rolled in kraft paper and placed in a heavy-duty mailing tube. Tissue paper is placed at the ends to prevent movement in transit.
