Emilie Anne Jenks lives in the land of endless prairies and cotton candy sunsets in South Dakota with her two little boys, a mischievous kitten and a loveable dog. Growing up on a farm, where some of her best friends were cats, she is very inspired by wild nature, sweet animals, childhood nostalgia, old things, all the colours, records playing in the early morning and long bike rides on country roads. Her favourite things to draw are flowers, plants, and hand lettering meaningful, uplifting quotes.

Emilie used to work at a soul crushing job for too many years, dreaming of being an artist, but was afraid she wasn’t good at drawing because she didn’t draw realistically. Once she had children, she was inspired to follow her dreams and make things happen in her life. Discovering the world of illustration helped her realise she didn’t have to draw perfectly to be good at art or to make a living from it. She drew and drew and worked really hard for her dream while being a stay at home mom and raising her little boys. Now she is able to work full time creating everyday and it's a dream come true. She believes even the impossible is possible if you are determined and a bit of a dreamer.

Packaging

• Unframed art prints are placed between sheets of acid free tissue paper before being rolled in kraft paper and placed in a heavy-duty mailing tube. Tissue paper is placed at the ends to prevent movement in transit.
• Framed artworks are encased in several layers of bubble wrap before being placed in our purpose-built heavy-duty cardboard boxes specifically designed to safeguard your artwork against damage while in transit.
