In 2013 Dick Frizzell personally oversaw the release of a series of open edition art prints featuring his most iconic works. In his 2002 silkscreen print "Popduck" Dick Frizzell cleverly transforms the cartoon character Popeye into Donald Duck in an artwork influenced by Frizzell's days working in animation.

Dick Frizzell is one of New Zealand's most popular and iconic pop artists.
